Miluakee tools has different manufacturing all over the world does anyone know if they make their Hardline folding knives themselves or if they license the manufacturing out to a knife manufacturer?

Nice, the older ones I had just said "stainless steel"As already mentioned, made in China (says it on the packaging). As far as steel type, all the ones I see say D2 on the packaging as well as on the back of the blade.
