Thanks!Yes. All the clips are the same
It doesn't feel as stiff as the stamped clip to me, but I wouldn't say it's a huge difference. The one on my Zaan doesn't actually contact the lock bar in the open position, so it might be a better option if you're having that issue. It still holds plenty well in the pocket though.Have you guys noticed if the clip is the same stiffness as the stock one? I have a Zaan with a lot of lockbar pressure and I think part of it might be the clip, I'd like to find a way to resolve it.
Thanks for the quick reply. I actually have two of these, a sand blasted tanto that was my first and a glass blasted drop point that just arrived last week. The weird thing is that the action on the new one is so much 'softer'. It's just so much easier to use right out of the box it came that way. I don't know what caused the differences but there are things like I can open the new knife left handed... not that you'd ever need to do that but the lock bar pressure is not so extreme so I can actually get it open with my left. No chance with the other knife. I just wish there was some way to 'fix' the tanto one to make it more like the other. It doesn't feel as stiff as the stamped clip to me, but I wouldn't say it's a huge difference.
