Recommendation? Mini Crooked River backspacer

Hello everyone!
Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong spot.

I finally got my hands on my Grail Knife, The Mini Crooked River. The one drawback of this stunning kit is the high vis backspacer. The bright orange really just clashes with the Diamondwood handles. I don't mind the orange pivot, just the backspacer needs to go.

Has anyone had any luck with finding a replacement backspacer? I know flytanium do them but I would like to keep the Diamondwood scales, and they only sell the backspaces in a set with replacement scales etc.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!! thanks guys!

There is a guy on Etsy who sells plastic backspacers for the mini, got myself one in black. Mind its plastic, not g10. Probably printed 3D, its inexpensive though.
 
I have seen him. Probably not what I would be looking for. Thanks for the tip though BeerButtChicken
 
Try contacting benchmade, mine came from the custom shop with a black backspacer...maybe you can buy one from them??
 
Thanks Lee, I did contact them, unfortunately they said they don't offer that as a part I can buy. This knife would be perfect if the spacer matched the scales

As long as you go black and no other color you won’t mess THAT part up. A dunk in simmering black dye (DyeMore, the whole bottle just to be safe) mixed with a quart - quart and a half of water and splash of vinegar and dunked for 2 minutes should be plenty.

I believe some of the standoffs from Ti connector will work with the Mini CR if you want to go with standoffs instead of the backspacer. I forget what size, but you can probably do a search in the Benchmade subforum or measure your knife yourself.
