Long ago I ditched rear pocket wallet carry. I've been getting along pretty good with the Money Clamp system but my pet peeve is what to do with the clamp while I'm making my transaction at the point-of-sale. Most of the time I clip it to my watchband or my sleeve or just lay it on the counter. But in today's world, rude people "sense" that you're almost done at the cash register and start to crowd in. I HATE this but it's a fact of life and so even before I'm "done" with my transaction, I start to move out of the way. So laying the clamp on the checkout counter is out of the question.

I'm looking for EVEN MORE minimalization than the Money Clamp system offers. Tall order, I know. Give me some recommendations. I wanna stay minimalist and MOBILE. I carry my license, a bank card, a fuel card, Certification card (for what I do at work) currency, and debit card receipt slips. Very little else.

Looking to go from slim to almost invisible... ;)

Wow! Thanks for all the recommendations. I'm gonna give the Big Skinny a try. Their "sport" model is on sale for a nice price, shipping is cheap and they take paypal. So I'm pullin the trigger.

However, these are all good suggestions. Thanks everyone. :)

Harry I used a money clamp for a few years until I lost the clamp. I must have left it laying on the counter like you were saying so I went to Office Depot and picked up 12 of these binder clips

for $1.50. Same concept but who cares if you lose one. FWIW since I went to using one of these I havent lost it in almost 2 years, go figure

ATM I'm using the wallet that comes with the money clamp alone, I fold my cash and tuck it into the receipt pocket, atm it's measuring 7mm thick, it's thin enough for me to put it into back pocket and forget about it.

I usually go with a removable card-case / ID holder from a regular wallet. They're fairly common and work well. Usually leather with clear inner windows. Very thin, which is why I like them. Still can hold a good amount though too, and disappears in a pocket.

Been using one of these Ti clips for three years strong

I never take my clip all the way off, I slide my cards in and out. I have my work gas card, debt card, insurance card, ect... all stacked up in order then when I get to the counter I fan my cards while still clipped. Slide out whatever card I need, use it, then slide it right back into place square up the cards by running my fingers down the sides. Takes only a second to do it all, fanning the cards, pull the card, use it, slide it back in position, square the cards, back into front pocket.

Cash gets folded in half and put on the bottom of the slack, the flat part of the clip goes toward your leg and the clip lip faces out away from your body, cash is on the flat side of the clip. Cash is also easy to slide in and out, the folded part slides right under the clip like a card.
