MKC Speedgoat Magnacut?

I don't have anything from this maker or know anything about their products .

But , I will say that naked paracord wraps are hard to keep clean on a user . :(

I have two of their knives in carbon steel. They are tough and very light.

I am interested in the Goat Magnicut also, I think it will provide better edge retention and also corrosion resistance in wet environments.

Go on their website and check out their videos. They address the different steels and blades types.

Other than cost, I don't see the point of uncoated paracord wrap on a knife that is going to get blood and guts on it. Why don't they offer Magnacut with their G10 handles?

To be honest I got tired of their "limited drops" too. It's annoying hype marketing.

I have one of their handle versions and one wrapped, I understand
your point. Regarding the limited drops, it is a supply and demand issue on a growing maker.

No, I don’t go to that restaurant anymore. No body goes there. It’s too crowded.”

Barry H,

I purchased the Magnacut Goat. Looks and feels great, very light and sharp. I won't get any field use right now, but will use in the yard and do some meat cutting to give it preliminary test.

Thanks for the comment. Looks like an interesting design. And I'm interested in trying out a Magnacut blade. I understand about the paracord possibly not being as desirable as G10 for example. Not sure if I will buy new, but if a used one pops up, I'd probably be interested.
