First of all, I'd like to thank the people at MOD for making a compact knife. There is a trend among knifemakers to make knives with blades >3", or over 7" overall, which can cause legal problems in some areas. It's almost as if these manufacturers would have us choose to either carry a knife or stay within the law. How many times do you see knives with blade lengths of 3.1" or thereabout? OK on to the question: Has anyone had any experience with the Masters of Defense 685 series knives, and if so, do you like them? Also, does anyone have any idea of the weight of these? Thanks in advance.

JK

I like the blade style of that model, but the catalog says the closed length is 5". I wonder how the plunge lock is.
