I made this knife using only the springs and blades from the original knife. The bolsters, liners, and pins are 410 stainless steel, with Roosevelt Elk stag scales from Barry(GunstockJack). The barlow bolsters are soldered onto the liners, which were both cut from raw stock, giving the knife a very solid feel. The blades, liners, and bolsters were brought to a 2000 grit hand finish, then buffed and polished to a mirror shine. Both blades have great snap and are razor sharp.
