Hello!
When I'm backpacking, I usually carry my Leatherman XTi, Juice S2, or my SAK Farmer in addition to a fixed blade (currently just using a Rat Izula for short trips).
I came across this last night:
They added serrations, and traded a can opener for a saw.
I'm very interested in trying this out, as it would be a great addition to a mini-kit. I love my XTi, but its big, and my only complaint about my Juice is the lack of a simple saw.
I'm going to try to add a saw to my S2, as well as modify a PS4. I'm not too much of a gram counter, but my main issue is overall size for my mini-kit that I want to always carry on me.
The pliers on the Squirt's aren't as good as the Juice, but for most things I think I'd need them for, they should be just fine (unless I'm trying to make a shelter out of a plane wing).
What do you all think of this modded PS4 as a good kit option?
