Molle clip question.

Having just received my first ESEE's ( two 3's , and a 6) :D:D:D
I am blown away by these knives ! I'm hooked !

The molle locks (intended for web gear) seem real hard to thread a leather belt through. What mods have you fellas made to fit them better on leather belts 1 1/2" wide or so ?? I didn't get the molle back with these, just the locks.Thanks for any help.

(man, that 6 is a big knife !!)
 
Welcome to the addiction! You could get a nylon web belt, or maybe a few tek loks. For the 6 you could get the belt clip attatchment. The 3's should have come with a boot clip that works pretty good on a belt.

I can't get the clip here yet. Wearing a BDU web belt is a great idea ! I'll get a couple tomorrow!

A 3 is on my get next list. Go figger,these knives are awesome :thumbup::D
 
They're molle locks for a reason. They're intended to be attached to thin molle webbing. Of the options that come with the knife, the paracord belt loop system is the most secure. The molle locks will allow the knife to rotate back and forth.
 
I actually was trying to mount the MOLLE locks onto my pack knife sheath today for the first time, and the holes don't line up! Do I just need bend the clips until they fit, or is something wrong here?

Make sure you put the rubber washer between the clip and sheath, and have the lock at the right height

Do you have a pic , so I got an idea how to rig mine up ?
 
I use a MOLLE lock on my Maxp. cell holder and carry it on a leather belt all the time. :confused:
 
Belt clip, or the molle backing are the best options for leather belt carry, or carry in general I think. A tec-lok would be the second best.
