Money Clip Knife?

hey guys, i'm looking for a new money clip knife. My wallet was getting abnormally huge so i decided that i should switch to something a little more sleek and slim and with a knife on it of course lol. I bought the CRKT Turtle which is great in every way but the money clip.

The clip on the turtle has a screw under it and any time i slide some bills in with two of my cards, the bills catch and either scrape or straight up tear. I tried filing down the screw as much as i could but even then, its still catching and ripping the bills even though there isn't much in the clip.

So, i was just wondering, does anyone have any recommendations on some good money clip knives?

P.S. i've been checking out the CRKT Gekkota, the Boker Subcom, and the SOG Blink so if anyone has some experience with those, i'd love to hear it. Also, if you know a way to fix the Turtle's problems, that would be great.

Thanks.

In the past, I've used a Spyderco Cricket. Lately I've been using a SOG Access Card. The SOG is a nifty little design, and seems pretty tough. It is an amazingly hefty blade for such a small package. It seems to do the trick for money clip duties, but then again my bankroll ain't that big. I'm amazed at how many citizens don't even realize the Access Card is a knife. Very easy opening too, in a couple of different ways.

I been using an etched cricket for a couple of years now and have turned on a couple of friends to it over that time. Now discontinued but you can still get a steel one.

I like my non-serated Boker Subcom F very well.

Could have used the Boker Credit Card Knife for money clip, too. But I took clip off and keep it in my wallet, umm, just because I can, I guess.

When I used a folder as a money clip, I really liked the Boker Subcom. It's thin & squarish, which made it comfortable to use. Admittedly, I never tried out one of the Boker or SOG card knives.

Victorinox makes a great money clip/knife. The knife part includes a blade, a file, and a scissors.

Gerber EAB or E A B

Another vote for the Subcom Titan. Very functional as a clip with no compomises as a small knife.

wow, thanks for the recommendations guys. still not 100% on which one i'm getting since so many new and different knives keep coming up lol.

the mcusta looks really nice but its a bit out of my price range. i was looking for something around $30, give or take.

the subcom seems to be pretty well liked, does it work well for thicker stacks too? like money and a couple cards?

My Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter wasn't designed to be a money clip knife but it doesn't know that...
