I didn't read many reviews about Moontrail.com, except for maybe one, but hey, being here in Canada, I haven't found some where I can go to a store and buy myself a Leatherman Surge. I was getting a smidge desperate. So after my long wait since the announcement of the Surge, I purchased mines from Moontrail.com. Their prices seemed competitive, and shipping costs were extremely reasonable, the fact they shipped to my door step, was a huge plus. Moontrail packed my Surge, and sent it out, reaching my door step in 7 days, on the dot. They were extremely clear about the shipping costs, due to my order size and the fact it would require crossing a border. There patience for my minor (ok, you've caught me on an understatement, my major) concerns regarding Canadian customs and their quick response times to my questions really impressed me. My package came bundled up nicely, taped up tighter than Fort Knox. It seems they removed the plastic packaging so it'd be cheaper on the shipping (which I appreciated), and everything came in the envelope in perfect condition. I recommend Moontrail.com to anyone who's in the market for a Leatherman, but not sure where to buy from.
