So I've been looking at these two knives and the two differences I see are the handles on the Pro C are rubber and plastic and the 511 only has a plastic handle. The second difference is the Pro C has a wider blade. Which do you prefer and why? I'm looking to get one of these two and I can't decide which one I prefer

Someone suggested the Robust which I also had been eyeing. So is the Robust better? I know it can take a beating cause I watch DBK

Pro C!
If You do detailed work the slimmer 511 will be better, otherwise it's the Pro C.
The rubberhandle feels better in hand than the all plastic version.

Personally I prefer solid plastic over rubberized. Rubber does just what its name implies: it rubs. Feels better in the short term, perhaps, but use it continuously for more than an hour and you'll feel it compared to solid poly.

Pro C is just a 511 with an upgraded handle.

Pay a couple bucks for the handle, which is still rather cheap, or save a couple bucks for the exact same blade. Your choice, won't go wrong either way.

Or, you can just go all out for the Mora 345 exclusive :)

Pro C has a wider blade. The only identical thing between models is the sheath. Personally, my favorite is the Pro Flex.

On the bladeHQ website, they are listed as identical widths (0.12"), if there is a difference in sure it's negligible.

On the Morakniv website, the Pro C is flat out listed as:
"Morakniv Pro C is an upgraded classic. It’s the faithful servant, Basic 511, with new improved features. Simply a real professional knife."

In their own words, not mine, so again, any actual difference in blade is negligible at best.

You seem to be looking at the thickness when I said width. The blade is wider, which is to say that the measure from the edge to the spine is larger. ;)
