Looking for a better sheath for the 546G. Something with a better belt attachment, and preferably cheap, since the knife is only $10 or so. I found Grizzly on google, anybody have one?

You can definitely get a better sheath for that knife, the problem is "price" for most guy's. You'll hear alot of guys say that they don't want to get a twenty, thirty dollar sheath for a knife that was only ten bucks. The way I look at it you got a really good deal on a knife or a great value... why should you punish yourself for getting a good deal. And be forced to carry the knife you like in a pos sheath? There is no "good" reason to do that to yourself.

A good sheath can be part of a great rig/carry system that'll outlast that knife and you could just buy another knife and put it right into the same sheath. Obviously I make sheaths, and what I make for that kind of knife can be as simple as a foldover or one of my "Pouch-Sheath's" which can be used a number of ways.

Here's an example of the Mora Pouch-Sheath I make:

That sheath had a youtube review put up last week:

It's not complete in the pic and looks more like this when it's finished: (ESEE-4 Pouch-Sheath)

These sheaths are made so that you can carry them with all kinds of accessories and once you've got the knife, firesteel holder etc. outside there's alot of room for your kit inside the pouch. Don't have a pic of a basic Mora sheath but I'll look around. Hope this helps.

I didn't really look at it that way, but you're right. I just want a kydex belt sheath, with decent retention that will fit American belts. The stock sheath will fit really thin nylon belts (Euro military), and maybe dress belts (not logical here). Even a basic neck sheath with eyelets, and I can use paracord for belt loops. I have your site bookmarked.

If you have access to a blind riveter, you could cut the old belt attachment off and put a new one on. Heck, you could even epoxy one on. Make it out of an old belt. The sheath is thermoformed plastic, I think Ragweed Forge has instructions for getting it to fit the knife better. Getting a better sheath is a good recommendation if you have the money. Pick up a couple of backup Moras so if you loose, break or wear out the knife, the sheath is still useful.
