Here are a couple of fancy khuks produced at Bir Gorkha. These are HI at it's best. These are not blems and are first rate.
1 - Kothimoda Dankhuta. Silver fillagree on sheath. 12 1/2"OAL, 14oz. Nice stag horn handle. Made by Bura (Royal Kami). Very, very nicely done. Great show piece, although could be used without worry. $275 - SOLD
2 - Hanuman AK by Kumar. This model features a monkeys head carved into the handle. Has six little tools. 19" OAL, 3/8" spine, 25oz. Very nicely done by a great Kami. A must have for collectors although can be used without hesitation. $140.
3 - Garud AK by Durba. This is one of Durbas last khuks while at HI. Handle has Dragons head carved into it. Silver mountings. 20 1/2" OAL, 1/2" spine, 32oz. Very well done by a great Kami. $150.
