So, the micarta liquidation continues. These are mainly cut-offs or scraps that I had left over, but all of it can be put to good use. I'm separating everything into lots, and would rather not split them up. However, if someone really wants to mix and match some things, shoot me a pm and we can probably work something out. I didn't take the time to list all of the measurements, since there's so many pieces, but if you're seriously considering purchasing something, and need exact dimensions of certain pieces, let me know. Please follow the links to see close ups of individual pieces. I've shots in both regular lighting, and under ultra bright LED lighting, since color can vary so much in photos.

LOT #1: Some really cool pieces, the two pieces in the middle have a terrific wood grain pattern unlike any other micarta i've come across(sanded one piece to show it). The small piece sitting on top is just there to give you an idea of how it looks if sanded from the opposite side. The piece on the far right is a big hunk of vintage canvas that was left over from a giant micarta wheel I cut up. The piece with the holes drilled through has some of the best color i've seen. If anyone is particularly interested in it, I can get larger pieces of the exact same stuff, but without the holes ;-) Price: $100 shipped.

LOT #2: Vintage Westinghouse White Ivory Linen and Westinghouse Natural Linen. There are 3 pieces of the white ivory, and one piece of natural linen. One piece of the ivory is something around 5'' or 6''x2'', the other two pieces are much smaller(refer to link below), but could still be put to good use. The natural linen is about 5''x3''. Price: $65 Shipped

LOT #3: Westinghouse Rag Micarta Gear and 2 other Micarta gears. Well, there's no denying the provenance of this rag micarta, since "WESTINGHOUSE MICARTA" is stamped right on there. Really nice color of rag on the Westinghouse wheel, to. All 3 are large enough to be put to use. Keep one for yourself, and give the other 2 out as Christmas gifts! Price: $125 Shipped

LOT #4: Miniature Westinghouse Micarta Pulley, an old Micarta Mallet, and a(I believe?)Blue Paper Micarta Coaster of the man himself.(not pictured) What do you get the vintage micarta collector who has everything? This stuff!(I guess?). These are some neat pieces of history, with the mallet being particularly rare to come by. Price:$65 Shipped

LOT #6: Cut-offs from 5 different types of rag micarta. Most pieces will be the type that is shown in the second picture, which I think looks the best, anyways. These could be put to use in a variety of ways. Bolsters, pendants, bolsters, etc. Check out the link for close-ups of the various pieces. Price: $45 Shipped

But wait, there's more.....

LOT #7: Now, now, don't get your hopes up. Those aren't big ol' sheets of antique westinghouse ivory paper, unfortunately. What they are, however, are pieces of vintage paper micarta "FR-1", which isn't very far from it. This is also similar to GE's "Textolite", which was frequently used in circuit boards as well. For reference, FR-4, which today's circuit boards utilize, is essentially G-10. Anyway, these are copper clad on one side. Fortunately, there's still enough of the good stuff to either use them for liners or inlays. The other option would be to laminate two pieces together face to face, and sand off the thin layer of copper(which is what I did with a piece, see below). Going that route makes them far more useful, IMO, since it gives you about 1/8'' total to work with.
Price for all 4 pieces(and the piece that I laminated together):$55

LOT #8: Big box of live-edge scraps of various burls, etc. I won this in a raffle about a year ago, and just never did anything with them. There's some really cool pieces in there, valued at $150 at least. Price: $80 Shipped.

LOT: #9: Westinghouse G-4 Prototype "Dragon Scales". I don't know what the hell these were used for, though I imagine it had a military application of some kind. My brother-in-law has a friend who buys/sells used aerospace equipment, and was aware that I was looking for Westinghouse phenolic. This is what he brought back for me, haha. I tried to look up G-4, and it's just not there. There's G-10, obviously, heck, there's G3, G5,G7,G9, and G11, but I've never seen a G4. Please refer to the link to see more pictures. Some are stamped Westinghouse on the back, some aren't. Lots of them are dated, with the latest going back to around 1964-1967. I have a bunch of these plates, and only want to keep a few for myself. I have several bundles of 8 available for sale.
Price for 8 plates: $50 Shipped
