Mors Pot in Canada

Looked at pages and pages. No luck. Amazon Canada shows it but the link goes to orchid pots. 0___0

Does it HAVE to be the Mors pot ? I pick up some toys now and then from MEC.

Well, if it's close in size, style, and quality it'd probably do. But I haven't seen much apart from coffee pots, and they're generally low quality.

Didn't see anything at MEC, I buy lots of stuff there.

Ask Joe Flowers.

I think FOur Dogs ships to Canada.

The solo stove pots look fairly similar.

Any idea where they are made? One of them looks quite good.

Is Joe Flowers Canadian? Not really sure how to contact him other than that youtube, I guess. The issue with ordering an item like this is that if you get dinged at the border it could be over a hundred dollars for a pot. Either under 20 or over 200 is the only way to go really.

Open Country makes anodized aluminum pots
and ship to Canada
the plain alumin costs $10

A mate sent it to me some years ago from Australia. It is stainless but has no brand marking. I still see them occasionally on the bay searching billy can. I suspect that it is made in Asia, but it high quality. The metal is thick enough to not easily bend or dent, but not so thick as to be heavy. The lid is a close fit without binding and it came with a small stainless inner pan which I have never used.

The most often seen while searching is the Zebra brand. They get good reviews and come in two sizes as well. I have a large box of odd camp cookware I have accumulated over the years. I tend to not use the aluminum pieces with a few exceptions like a heavy small aluminum military skillet with folding wire handles. No idea as to when it was made but that it does have the "U.S." stamp on the bottom.

The Zebra pots as Codger_64 mentioned are available online at Bushcraft Canada in BC.

Oh, they look good. Anything like that example. Thanks.

I won't deal spot for you, but here is an image from a Canadian supplier of Zebras. A google image search will hook you up with this one and several more. IMHO, I like the flat stamped metal handle on mine far more than the old wire bails. Much better control for handling and hanging and sturdier attachment. IIRC, the billy I showed above is going on eight years or so and, with an occasional cleaning with Fast Orange hand cleaner and a scouring pad, looks and works good as new. I can't see how the case would be different with the Zebra brand. Also they have a good variety of sizes and shapes.

If you search this forum you'll find reviews of the Zebra pots. Everybody seems to like them.
