Blade steel and locks aside, what's the most comfortable knife handle you've encountered. The para 2 and military Came pretty close but we're a little blocky. The zt0200 has an awesome handle. What are some other awesome feeling knives?

Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter is very, very good. I also find the Benchmade Adamas very comfortable in extended use thanks to it's thicker handle.

My top candidates, in no particular order:

-Spyderco Paramilitary 2
-Spyderco Endura
-Cold Steel AK-47
-Cold Steel Recon 1
-Cold Steel Talwar
-Cold Steel Espada
-Cold Steel Voyager (you may be noticing a pattern here:D They really do ergos right at CS)
-Opinel
-Benchmade Griptilian
-Buck 110

ZT 0200.
Leatherman K502
Kershaw Steven Seagal.
Benchmade Griptilian.

In other words, thick, hand-filling grips with traction on the sides.

I like something a little rounded. The ones that I have are the Benchmade 890 and 581, and the ZT 0561. I had a ZT 0200 and it did feel good but it was a bit too thick and too heavy for me. That is one down side of sculpting the scales, they can get thick, but OTOH the ZT 0561 does it with a reasonable thickness.

The rounded ZT's are very comfy in hand, and fat in pocket. It's a trade off. The Recon 1 is very positive and hand filling, yet thin in pocket. Very grippy G-10!

I would have to say my Spyderco Sage's I or II with finger in the choil.

the emerson cqc 14 has some of the best feeling handles ive ever felt, the design gives you a smaller blade with a full size handle. the emerson cqc8 also has handles that feel superb.

the benchmade mini onslaught is another superb design, both the handle is extremely comfortable and the blade is very nice and useful.

This is a really good question ,for me anyway , if the knife is to uncomfortable to hold / handle I simply wont keep it. But getting back on track

The thing is , as this is our hobby /interest , we use , handle the knives a lot more than occasional users so the knives have got to feel right. Not long to Christmas now . It will be nice to see the family BE IT FOR A SHORT while ,Family is important.
