Would anyone have the movie "A cry in the wild", it is about a kid who survived a plan crash and lived on his own for 28 days. It is based on the book named "Hatchet"?

I have searched the net and cannot find a copy. I am planning a movie night with my Cub Scout pack, and I would like to show it.

I would like to buy it or barrow it. I would be happy to pay shipping both ways to Ohio.

Thanks

Google search for "A Cry in the Wild" and you'll find many listings. The very first one showed multiple copies.

good ole gary paulson....look for "my side of the mountain"... i think its the same movie with a different name...

and i am an idiot...my side of the mountain was written by Jean Craighead George...not Gary Paulson....

They have it on Netflix, but I've had mine on order from them for over a year. You may have better luck.

Good question. We just finished reading the book to one of the kids and also wanted to watch the movie. Any luck?

Thanks.

check and see if your local library has it or can ship it from another library in your county or state. if that doesnt work, you should be able to find it on Amazon.com. very good movie! my son is reading the book," Hatchet" - Eric

DVD copies are VERY rare and are getting ridiculous amounts of money for them. ($45-$75!!!) VHS copies are out there for less, as are foreign (Australian) encoded DVDs. That is why it has taken so long on That-Other-Flix. People probably "lost" the copies sent to them.
