Hey guys... here's my story:
Tonight i was talking to some friends on MSN when all of a sudden i get a message from one of them: "is this you?" after that 3 word question was a link..... silly me, i clicked on the link with out asking him what it was about.... it turns out that the link downloaded some kind of virus on to my computer. Im not entirely sure what it does, all I know is that it passes on the "is this you" message and link to all active msn users on my contact list. Ive tried looking the virus up on the internet but ive found nothing on it. I have a fire wall and antivirus software but niether one seems to help. I really cant blame my friends for sending this since they never intended to send it in the 1st place. And even though they are my friends, I know I should have asked them what the link was before I clicked on it....
anyways, if anyone has any advice about getting rid of this nasty little bug I'd be very greatful. thanks in advance,
