The 2016 Coffee Mug sets a new standard: Made in USA, hand thrown, OK in microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer. Not too big and not too small. I have XXL glove hands and I get 3 fingers in the handle, thumb on tip and pinky under for excellent control. Take a gander at it and some other loot just in from Larry Oden (new Selector in on back order):

Steve,

What is the size (oz) of the mug? I got one from the NRA that was hand made very cool but only 14oz I need bigger for my morning cup-0-Joe!

I don't actually use Buck branded cups, or most knives, I collect em. I could but I don't. I display them in a place of honor.

13 ounces, 1 2/3 cups, if it was white light lightning you would not get any older after consumption. This raises an awkward question: Does Joe drink a cup of morning Joe?

Good to see you back OREGON , you always bring us
such interesting and good looking products from Buck .

I have to many coffee cups. But I don't have one like this! You sold me. I might as well get a towel too.

Well said. + 1

(Don't tell JB that his vexing volume problem could be solved by him having more than a single cup-o-Joe)

Yep, you see I'm just a bit lazy in the morning. My current cup holds 21oz. It's 4 shots of expresso and some other sissy stuff
I know I could go through the hassle of making it twice but why? I'll just skip the mini Buck cup!

Good to be back. Thank you kindly. Buck just keeps up the good work don't they. Like family there's a place at the table for everyone. Or, there's something on the table for everyone! :) Have you seen the Buck wrist watch I've been known to wear?

Who needs a cup when you can drink out of the garden hose. But nobody wants you in the house drippin wet so you gotta have the towel. So if you're getting the towel might as well get the cup for when Winter comes! I'll karabiner the towel to the stove, using the grommet, in the kitchen instead of the one there now with flowers on it. Think that she will notice?

Very nice!

I will get more mugs when I visit the factory to have a set now that I've handled this one. Maybe if I have enough I will finally be able to use one...

I'll wear you down with time my friend. Yup. With time. Like sand thru the hour glass. Not every vessel is for drinking out of :) Sometime you just might need a CUP-O-BUCK! :

Nice mug. But I must be missing something, how do get one?

I ordered from an authorized Buck Dealer, Larry Oden. You could order from your favorite sponsoring dealer that carries Buck accessories.

You start swapping war stories and cutlery with Larry Oden you will soon find that you have a voracious tiger by the tail. I had to carefully open the mug container because the note in the box said to be careful as it was full of pins. Some of those pins are new for 2016. He sends me stuff. I send him stuff. Larry is a gentleman, scholar and a hoot. I've never me a better man. He is VP of the Buck Collector Club. His collection of early factory knives is stunning and his knowledge of them encyclopedic. I met him at the factory in Post Falls, ID at the 25th BCCI get together. He is a member here but posts infrequently. Here's Larry at his display at a meet:

You want pins then visit the factory if at all possible. There are a ton available and lots of other accessories I'd never seen or heard of before.

The Buck Coffee Mug catalog # 10500, model # 95082.
The Buck Fishing Towel catalog #10478, model #95081.

I was afraid of what I might see by opening a thread by oregon with "MUG" in the subject header.
It's another coffee mug! Whew!! Nice! :)

That would be a good towel to clip onto your golf bag...if you golf, which I don't, but I used to, but still may in the future, so will have to get one just in case I ever do golf again.

My older Buck mugs make nice holders for some ECDs or pens.

Buck has a large selection.

You are close to the factory. If you start accumulating Buck accessories think of the possibilities. What if our favorite marque started branding/designing everything? Is there a product too far? Is there something Buck brands already that is already OVER the top?

First photo framed certificate on the right, what does it say? I've blown it up but still can't read it. Thank you but never mind if you'd rather not.

Colorful collection of Buck accessories. Thank you for the photos. It was the highlight of the 25th reunion meeting you and Herbert and then touring the corporate offices for the photo shoot with CJ. You know it is not that long until the 30th BCCI reunion. Time goes bye like it was shot out of a gun IMHO. Memories, like gold in my hands. Many thanks.

Two cup-o-Bucks! You have the coolest coffee mug, the vintage one, not Buck. You know the one.

That is my BCCI Lifetime Member certificate.

Yes...met lots of fantastic people at the 25th anniversary. Good times. :)

Are you talking about my 1940s Davy Crockett milk glass coffee mug?

You received a certificate!

I spent the nights working with camera, chip, wife's ipad, photos, postings, and days trying to stay awake when a smart phone would have been the ticket...

Bingo, we have a winner, Davey Crockett mug/glass! Excellent  Terrific folder. Thank you for the photos.

I will go by and take pics. If not too many I can purchase and send out to you guys.

A visit to the terrific factory store, meeting and talking with the workers, photographing the layout, displays and merchandise would make excellent material for articles to put into the Buck Employee Newsletter AND the Buck Collector Club Newsletter. It has been my experience that the Buck Factory Store Employees, include everyone that I've ever met that works at Buck, are as if fallen from heaven. Really. Just a thought. Larry Oden would embrace such an article and I would be tickled to read it.
