What is the fastest multitool with one handed knife blade deployment (using hand, not wave)? Not looking for something stiff to open but rather fast, smooth and easy. No requirement for other tools except it should have a slotted screwdriver. Liked the looks of the Emerson but it looks a bit stiff and don't like nail nicks.

If you include SAKs, any of the OHO Vic or Wenger 111 or 130mms.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think so far the best fit for me would be the Victorinox Swiss Army One-Hand Trekker Non-Serrated but it is very similar to my current work carry but with one-hand opening added. Would actully prefer something a bit more tactical but we'll see. Also saw the Extrema Ratio M1A1 but not sure I want to pay that much.

My picks, and favorite multitools with OHO blades.

Vic: Soldier and OHO Trecker
Gerber: Octane, MP800, MP1
LM: Surge, Wave, Wingman
SOG: Blactip, Powerassist, Powerplay, Reactor
Other: Paul Chen multitasker

Of course, those have all at least one slotted screwdriver.
My favorite would be the Gerber MP800 Legend, but all others are fine tools as well.

not really a recommendation
If you're looking for a fast deployable blade use a knife
I carry a smaller fixed blade for cutting and a multitool for other stuff.
Works best for me.

My 2 cents

I've actually got a Charge but always found it stiff to open the blades and didn't want to buy 2 sets of Torx security bits to fix the problem. Just got back from the post office mailing it back to Leatherman. It's a little heavy for EDC for me but will see what happens when I get it back. In the meantime will think about these suggestions and watch some videos.

I must lead a charmed life. Every Leatherman I have ever owned for the last 20 years, 12 (?) coming and going, has started out a bit stiff but mellowed after a few hours of working the implements. Right now I have five in rotation, all of them right and tight but smooth enough to open with no excess stiffness (or looseness.) Have you tried a squirt of WD40 and an evening in front of the TV? Works for me.

One thing about the Trekker you may not realize is that the standard screwdriver also locks open.
