My 110 SPA Results

I unpacked my old early 70's 110, just back from a SPA treatment, plus blade replacement.
I would post a pic if I could, but I'm not able to post pics, maybe sometime later.
Anyway......the knife looks brand new ! The reflection is almost too much. Kudos to Buck !
One other thing ; while on the phone taking care of my bill, I asked about a replacement 110 sheath (nylon), apparently the nylon sheaths are no longer available.

that's good on the knife, but sad on the nylon sheaths. i prefer those.

Yeah there's over 200 nylon sheaths in stock for the 110.
I get an extra almost every time I order anything.

I don't see those being discontinued, not unless the 110LT is being discontinued.

Ok, the gal I spoke with at Buck less than two hours ago told me they're out of the 110 nylon sheaths and will no longer carry them (??). I wanted a 110 nylon sheath shipped in my order, but a 110 black leather is coming instead.
Maybe Buck Knives can chime in on this...

Weren't the nylon sheathes made in China? Maybe they decided not to reorder with the increase in tariffs?

Possibly, but they still source all the box store specials from China.
maybe there will be a switch to Vietnam...etc for these sheaths if that's the issue?
If what the representative said is true, maybe it just means they'll only be available as included with the 110LT.

I apologize for any confusion. No the 110 nylon sheaths are not discontinued. We did discontinue the 112 nylon sheath and have run out of the backstock we had.

I had hoped for a 110 nylon in lieu of the 110 leather that went out yesterday. Not sure when I'll make another order (?)
