My Birthday present...

This one really takes me back. The very first knife I bought wwaaaaayyyy back in 1970, was a Buck 110 "Folding Hunter". I carried that knife for over 5 years before loosing it on a construction site. Today, my son and his wife gave me a new Buck 112 for my "B"day, and it is great. What a little jewel! Almost bit me twice- damn, that spring is strong! Snapped right shut on me- only caught my fingernail (lucky for me). Blade is silly sharp, right out of the box. Built like a tank- just like I remember my 110. Buck continues to build outstanding knives. This one is an American Classic

Nice knife but you can't possibly be thinking of using it? It has the anvil mark, denoting Buck's 100th anniversary and is a collectible. Now you have to go find yourself another "user" 112.
While your shopping around for your next knife, maybe you should buy a box of bandaids too!
