This one really takes me back. The very first knife I bought wwaaaaayyyy back in 1970, was a Buck 110 "Folding Hunter". I carried that knife for over 5 years before loosing it on a construction site. Today, my son and his wife gave me a new Buck 112 for my "B"day, and it is great. What a little jewel! Almost bit me twice- damn, that spring is strong! Snapped right shut on me- only caught my fingernail (lucky for me). Blade is silly sharp, right out of the box. Built like a tank- just like I remember my 110. Buck continues to build outstanding knives. This one is an American Classic:)

Nice knife but you can't possibly be thinking of using it? It has the anvil mark, denoting Buck's 100th anniversary and is a collectible. Now you have to go find yourself another "user" 112. :D
While your shopping around for your next knife, maybe you should buy a box of bandaids too! :)
Thanks for sharing your story.

Take care,
