It's been a while since I posted some of my leatherwork. Here's my first attempt with an inlay I just finished yesterday. A huge thanks to Paul for his inspiration, help, and leatherworking knowledge. I used Wickett and Craig drum dyed veg. tan for the sheath pieces and the full liner on the interior of the sheath. 1mm Tiger thread for the main stitching and #69 polyester around the inlay. Thanks.

I don't know why 4 of the same photo was posted. Does anyone know how to delete photos from a post. I tried going into the Edit tab ????

Vinnie, I can't find a single thing to criticize. The whole job including the great edge finish looks perfect to me. I'd be proud to have my name on that one.

Paul, what a guy. You are always helping someone, especially if it's advice coupled with your very own sense of humor. Vinnie and I have just met and are in the process of waiting for the good ol' USPS to get each other's trade to the other. Hope all is well,

Bob

Excellent work and excellent edges! I like the use of the copper snap on the keeper strap. Really ties into the coloration of the inlay and the sheath itself.
