Here is my latest trapper.

This one was sold before it was finished :) . A friend of my wife bought it for her husband as a birthday present.

That is a sweet knife. Your stuff just keeps getting better and better. Are you going to have a table at SOS show? I sure would like to see some of your stuff in person.

That is a real beauty!

Is that a "plain" bone handle, jigged? Looks great! I'm also curious as to what steel you used? WHile I like other patterns, guess I'll always like the trapper the best.

Edit: Forgot to mention how much I like the angled end bolster. It really adds a lot to the appearance, IMO.

That is a beautiful knife. I love the file work. The blade shapes work exceptionally well for me, and the bone handle is a perfect choice.

Thats one great looking pocket peice!!!
Clean relatively straight forward clasic peice.
I love the file work. Thats one guy that has a REALY GOOD wife. I don't do folders but, what would the file work look like if they were mirror images instead of parallel images?? Just a thought not a critisisum.

Thanks for the comments. I had planned to get a table at SOS show but decided not to. Chickened out I guess. :D I'll be there one day for sure looking around and visiting with folks. Hope to have something worth bringing to show a few friends.

Sorry I left specs off but went back to original post and fixed that.

I do the filework both ways. Use to do lots of mirror images vine patterns but switched to parallel. I've got a mirrored one on the bench just waiting for handles. So stay tune as soon as it is finished I'll post a pic. It's a new pattern of an old classic I worked on and modified. Its going to be a supprise ;).

Thanks

Fantastic folder Tony!!! Thats got to be the sharpest file work I've ever seen! You must be one very patient individual to do file work of that quality!
