My Winchester Knife

I'm going to guess Chinese, too. Glad you're getting good use from it. Do you prefer modern folders like that one? Any other knife interests?

I started out using modern folders, then got interested in traditional folders and eventually fixed blades. These days I own and use all three.

Believe what you have is a variant of this knife:

Same handle and design, same blade shape and same markings.

It does lack the hook cutter at the butt of the knife which is as pointed out a cordage cutter or seat belt (or any other strap) cutter. The pic above is from an old auction of about 6 or so years ago and the seller disclosed it as Chinese made.

So it is almost 100% sure to be Chinese knife made as a sturdy, affordable user.

I believe the OP's knife is made in China by some Yangjiang factory. They make knives with brand names like Gerber and Winchester. Not sure if there are others. But they all seem to carry the 466061xA mark. The Gerber logo on the paraframe below does not look authentic to me. But others may be more knowledgable.
