I thought I would take several posts throughout the week to introduce to you my knife designs and hopefully generate a bit of interest and discussion about my knives and myself as a maker. I'd love to hear what you think!

This is my Yaak Mountain Hunter. The 80CrV2 blade on this one measures 4 3/4" from guard to tip with an OAL of 8 3/4" It is stick tang construction with a copper guard, a hand domed copper pin and Ironwood handle. The blade is hand sanded through 600 grit and the handle has a complimentary hand satin finish. Custom leather by Claude Scott. Thanks for looking!

That's a nice piece, K.

Rather than start a new thread every time I make one of these I figured I would just keep it going here. If there is a better place to post these so they may be enjoyed, I'm open to other suggestions. They all have the same specs, just different handle materials and carbon steel types depending on the necessary blade characteristics.
This one has a copper guard and spalted maple handle. Custom leather by Claude Scott.
