I was listening to some music just now, and suddenly a question popped into my head.
Is there a certain song, genre or artist that makes you think or daydream about traditional folding knives?
One song that does that to me, is Poor Man's Son, by Kris Drever.
It has that melancholic, desperate, hard-times, hard-work, pocketknife feeling. (To me anyway.)

So.. Name that tune for you!

(Here's mine.)

Hall's Of Montezuma.

We'd be hiking back to a camp out area, and Mr. Van would have us singing the Hall's Of Montezuma as we marched. What can I say, we liked it and him, and he was a die hard marine. I can't think of the marines and not think about scout knives. especially an old Remington.

Carl.

Anything by Roy Acuff or Hank Williams. They were Granddad's favorites.

"Oh, the shark, babe, has such teeth, dear

And it shows them pearly white

Just a jackknife has old MacHeath, babe

And he keeps it … ah … out of sight.
