This is a Nick Chuprin MK-1S (Mark One Small) that has been sitting in my safe for 18 months unused. I purchased it after Dr Frunkey reviewed this knife on 2.2018. His YT video is available for your closer look and his thoughts.
This knife has traveled and has been handled before finding it's way to me. Sale includes the hard plastic pelican-style egg foam case I received it in. Not NIB but in solid A- condition IMO. Could use a cleaning and new polish on the edge. Please see photos below.
CRS-XHP hollow compound ground with a harpoon swedge. Full titanium scales that are not skeletonized. Runs on bearings with a detent ball, without over travel stop or lock bar insert. Zirconium pivot collars with titanium pivot screws. Milled flamed anodized zirconium clip. Flame anodized titanium back spacer.
The blade is centered without me ever touching the pivot screws. Excellent grind with what looks to be the original mirrored edge. Lock up shown in the photo below and rock solid. Deploys smoothly and reliably both push button and light switch. This blade does not fall shut but will click shut with a several gentle shakes.
