NCIS Gibbs useing a ZT 301

Watching NCIS last night Gibbs pulled out a ZT 301 Im Petty sure of.anyone else see it,??Im possitive do to the fact i EDC one.

Don't know which episode you watched but I've seen Gibbs using a ZT folder twice. One time I can remember is the episode with Vance in the hospital. Gibbs gives Vance his ZT to protect himself lying in the hopsital bed.

Very nice knives, just a bit to wide for me to edc.

Yeah, I saw him use one in an episode a couple years ago. There was tons of threads on it. It was great seeing ZT on national tv! :)
 
As far as I know the only 03XX Gibbs uses is a ZT0302(coyote brown), other characters use different models.

There's a post on this forum(BF) or another forum where people just point out all the knives that were used in NCIS. A lot of people are nearly obsessive with finding the scenes and the knives. This has been talked about A LOT. The post I'm thinking of was way over 10 pages long. Very interesting though. I love to see real quality knives on television, because that's very rare.
 
Gibbs had a Gerber Harsey I believe. Then he had a Kershaw Leek, then the ZT. I mighta missed one in there. I think that McGee had a Spyderco Native or Delica; Dinozzo had an Endura, now a custom ZT (made specifically for a "client in Hollywood" according to one of their reps). Ziva has had a hundred and eleven knives on NCIS, but her character is a collector. When her apartment blew up on one of the season finales, I wonder how many knife nuts mourned her collection...

I have a 301, and while it is a little bit big, I have not had any problems carrying it in a backpocket or coat pocket.

I didn't see the 302 on last night's episode, but then I only saw the 2nd half. Gibbs gave his 302 to Vance for protection, and Vance used it to kill the "bad guy". In another episode, I think it was this season's Christmas episode, Gibbs used his 302 to strip some electrical wire while they were holed up in a gas station.

What knives do you think the characters carry? I see Ducky with an old Sheffield jack.
 
In the season finally last night Gibbs used his 302 to tear apart Vances Tahoe looking for a bomb. They found the bomb but dude with Gibbs which was bad guy told Gibbs to get away as he tried to disarm the bomb so Gibbs gave him his knife to do so. Then the bomb exploded & i guess now that 302 is in knife heaven! I think now is a time for a moment of silence for the 302! It looked good cutting the Tahoe up!
 
Gibb's Rule #9 is "Never go anywhere without a knife". That alone makes it a top TV show for me, even though.... #9? It's pretty much my #1...

Yup, cliff-hanger ending, we know there are deaths among the core characters, we don't know who..

Assuming Gibbs is among the survivors ( safe assumption, this is Hollywood, not life), anyone care to guess what the replacement for the sacrificed 302 might be? Based on the trend, I'd guess maybe a 0561... or maybe a one-off tiger-stripe 0561, or 056-something with a real desert-tan scale as homage to the 0302?

Product placement time, get Hollywood on the phone, start offering!
 
I normally don't watch NCIS, but I was cruising through the den while my wife was watching this episode at the exact moment Gibbs pulled his ZT out. I think he later handed it to another character to try and diffuse a bomb.

Your right he gave it to dude to disarm it. Maybe in next season opener they show Gibbs & crew walk up to the destruction caused by the bomb & only thing left be his ZT302 without a scratch possibly still in dudes hand which blown off his body! Probably to gorie but it would be sweet!
 
The next episode sees Gibbs hoisting his boat in his basement. Beneath it, a chest full of 302s. :-)
 
I could be misremembering but I don't think they showed Cole dying. And if Gibbs had time to get into the basement to Abby, Cole had time to get out. Cole and the ZT might still be kicking!
