My "team" at the office has stockings. It's not a really knife/gear friendly place, but not at all an ANTI knife/gear friendly department.

What are some little cheap things I can put in their stockings that say "Me"?

What's a cheap SAK? Cheap flashlight? Others?

Just trying to be myself at work.

.

Pray thee tell what is "cheap". :)

I think you can get those nifty scissors/file/can opener SAKs for like $4 each in bulk. (The ones I looked at may not have yodeled, though.)

Not to mention those also nifty LED button lights for around $9 each in bulk.

Neither are great, but are useful to most people.

I believe a g russel sells a pair of tweezers that you can carry on your keyring for about $6 which are handy as a pocket on a shirt. later, ahgar

What is a really handy item that I have given in the past is the ZIPPO MPL (Multi Purpose lighter). It is a handy butane long match that is great for lighting candles, fireplaces, grills...etc.

They have a mini version on Ebay that shipped is $11.50. If you are buying a few you may be able to save on postage.

They are made in America and guaranteed for life.

These guys have some nice products.

I've carried and frequently use the Utilikey, and added the 4-in-1 keychain screwdriver set a year ago.

I'm giving the keychain screwdrivers and some Photons as office gifts for Christmas.

Mini USB flash drives by SanDisk, PNY, Sony, etc.

The little micro photon lights are a great stocking stuffer. Not too expensive. Various models and colors.

I've introduced a lot of friends into the "EDC mindset" by giving them gifts from FifthUnit. Their prices are super low and the service is good. However, they're based in Hong Kong so their shipping (via AirMail) usually takes 2 - 3 weeks.

Some of my friends got a little $5 - $10 1W LED from me (via FifthUnit) and then ended up looking for more powerful, fancier flashlights on their own!

(By the way, FifthUnit has a great rep over on Candlepower Forums if you want to get other opinions.)

All good ideas.

For cryin' out loud, FOL--- you live in Denver. Get your @rse down to REI
and look at their shelves full of handy little outdoor gewgaws.

(I know, you spend enough time and money there already.)

:D
