Nice collection, what is the need for values? Are you planning to sell them off? If so. a wall of text and a wall of knives makes for a very confusing and overwhelmingly impossible task for anyone to help you determine value, or decide what is what. A description paired with a photo of each knife would make it much clearer in whatever venue you post, or are attempting to get help. A lot more work for you, yes, but as this is formatted, it's impossible to tie it all together...good luck.

Yes, my dad just sent me this box of knives and asked me to sell them. I just unpacked it so I'll have proper pics and better description up soon.

Great collection of knives. As sitflyer stated you need to organize pics/descriptions better so others can more easily understand what is what. Also wonder if this should go to Bernard Levines Knife collecting and identification?

I think the folks in this forum can help identify the knives.
You should also check
https://www.casexx.com/Library/Secret.asp
That will give you a key to the pattern numbers

Once you know the pattern name and the exact year, I think you would get better information on valuation by checking what similar knives have sold for on eBay. Look at the bid history. The second highest bid is usually a fair estimate of what the knife is worth.
Also "condition" is an extremely important factor. So look at knives which are in similar condition to yours.

^^^ I have to agree. There are enough Case knives on the auction sites you can find those current values with a little digging. Or you could just put them up at auction and see what happens. The other's may be a little more difficult. eBay will not allow sales of any kind of ivory, nor will most other auction sites. You could try listing them here or looking around for another public site that will allow those sales.

The non-Case knives are going to be hit-or-miss, no matter where you sell them. It's not easy getting the right collector to spot your offerings, and that makes pricing very "flexible". My current experience with that is knives are selling 15-20% lower than expectations not counting the percentage you lose as commission/fees.

It will take a lot of work, but can be done. Your pay per hour might come out pretty low.
