I have a sears 4x36 sander, not very much power but works ok for now.About all i use it for is a little flat sanding and profiling as long as i take my time it works ok.I have ordered a few belts from super grit.I have gotten must from sears but sears belts are not any good.I would like to know what would would be my best choice and where would be the best place to order? Thanks Keith

Supergrit.com is the only place I know of that sells decent 4x36 belts in good selection. When I ordered from them before, I ended up with blue norzon belts and some other decent ones. Just not so much out there for 4x36's as they seem to be more of a hobbyist level belt size.

Tru-Grit also has a pretty good selection of 4 X 36" belts

Check out barbkat on ebay. I bought a lot from them and they are the lowest cost (I think). They have great feedback and great service!

Supergrit just sent me my first real set of belts. I got the sale green zirconia 60 grit, some 200, 400 and 600 grit, along with 2- 600 grit cork belts to try out. I have used the 60 grit a bit (he he... rhymes) and found that the grit smooths out fairly quick but still gets the job done OK. At least it will work for now- or until I can afford a real grinder in a couple of years time (I just signed up for Massage Therapy School).

good to here about getting the belts and getting schooling
i get all but my gator belts and buffing belts from supergrit (good people )
you will love a full size knife grinder
