I recently purchased some Nevr-Dull (correct spelling) while at a hardware store. I had never heard of the stuff but the salesman told me that he had used it for years and swore by it. I used it on a couple of my knives and it really does the trick. Has anyone else used Nevr-Dull and if so what have been your experiences/results?

Used that product in 1969-71 in the Marine Corps to keep the belt buckles shiny for inspections.

Have used it some since, on chrome on the motorcycles, etc.

It works very well.

Have been using it for years on my motorcycles. Is is very effective in removing stains and rust from steel and protects the surface. I like Flitz very much too.

I know a couple of people that use it for polishing the stainless on their sailboats... supposed to work very well.

It was used in the AF on jet trainers that were unpainted. It did a great job on belt buckles, motorcycle rims and cases, you could make aluminum dang near look like chrome.now I use it on my aluminum bass boat.

I love nevr-dull. I find it also puts a nice patina on carbon steel. the only disadvantage I can think of is the can-it's a little big to be carrying around. I don't know that I'd eat with utensils coated in nevr-dull, but that's me.--Joe

I have to agree on the size of the can especially for me I have the 2 pound can of nevrdull , my problem is finding the larger sized cans. I got it at an airport maintenance shop and I have been on one can for 10 years now, and its time to visit my local airport. :D

I really like it and use it on all my knives to clean and polish the blade and bolsters. It cleans very well and is non abrasive. It does not scratch a high polish blade. Does a great job removing the tarnish from brass. It is also great for cleaning the powder burns off a stainless firearm. Does it much quicker than any gun solvent and leaves a nice polished finish. Those who have never tried it, should.

Nevr-dull is an excellent product, and is a staple for metal polish/cleaning around boats. They actually make giant 5 pound cans of the stuff. The downsides:
1) It stinks

2)It can be a REAL fire hazard. DO NOT smoke and use Nevr-dull indoors simultaneously!

3) DO NOT ask me how I came to conclusion #2

4) DO NOT EVER use Nevr-dull or an etched blade. You will not have much etching left!

5) DO NOT ask me how I came about conclusion #4

Great stuff,I have a can in front of me now.Mine is made by Eagle one.

You can get it at Wallyworld. I use it all the time at work to clean customers knives before sharpening them. Used it since U.S.M.C. days. One can for less than $6 will last years.

The first time I used nevr dull I was less.than enthusiastic about it since I was polishing every piece of metal around . I was in the USCG Tracen, Cape May NJ. It is a great product and worx well for most situations. Blue magic is also great too
