I just came across these on blade hq. I didn’t know these existed until now. I like the old Paklite that was discontinued and the Bucklite with rubber handles as well. These seems to fall in line with those. Just wondering if anyone has picked either one up yet.

I saw them listed on the price sheet the other day but didn't see any pics. Just looked them up, I prefer the handle profile of the old packlites, but I think the added handle slabs will make it more functional. I do like the blade on the 631 better than the previous blades, might have to give it and the 636 boning knife a try.

I have a couple of the old Paklites and they are very comfortable for a skeletonized knife. I’m definitely a fan of the newer blade shape, I like it much better than the recurve on the old ones. I think I will pick one up and see how I like it.

i like the looks of the recurve, but they aren't as convenient to sharpen. But mostly I have never understood the purpose of such a broad blade. The 631 doesn't appear to be quite as broad.

I have several of the packlite boning knives and added some slabs to one that I gave to my brother inlaw. I really like it, it fits real well and intend to put them on the others. But can't seem to find a round tuit.

Nice. I would love to hear your thoughts after you get it in hand.

I definitely see the utility in the recurve and have found them awesome for fish knives and other kitchen stuff. I just don’t care for it on something that I would use as a general carry knife. And sharpening them can definitely be aggravating. They aren’t too bad when I’m using something the sharpmaker, but I never like the results that I get from flat stones. I should rephrase that last part, I don’t like the way recurves look after I’ve sharpened them on flat stones. Those boning knives look really good man!

I really like it. I wear large gloves so you can get perspective on the size. I also really like the sheath. The scales on the knife have nothing to do with the retention which is very good.View attachment 2083662View attachment 2083663View attachment 2083664View attachment 2083665View attachment 2083667View attachment 2083668View attachment 2083669

Nice! I really like the looks of it. I may go ahead and order one today, but I may get the version with 420 instead of S35v. I carry an Izula and Buck 112 Slim Pro probably 99% of the time and I’m thinking this could replace the Izula. Thanks for the update

I’ve got the a 630, the smaller version with the 420 steel, ordered and on the way. Looking forward to checking it out

Got the one with the black handle. Same knife but different steel and handle material. 139 dollars versus 46 dollars.View attachment 2087382View attachment 2087383
I really like the looks of these. Looks like these are the 631 model? Im getting the shorter 630. Now I wonder if I should have gone with the 631 😂. I can’t wait to get mine. I started with the cheaper version with 420hc steel to see how well I like it. If I like it as much as I think I will, then I will most definitely be getting the one with the s35vn.
