One of the new designs I am working on.
How about some Ideas on how "The Beast" should evolve

7 1/2" Recurve blade 12 1/4"OAL. Done in Beadblasted 5160
steel. Canvas Micarta handle with Micarta pins Brass guard.

That is one sweet looking blade.
Might have to pick one up if I ever shake cash loose.


As for improvements... not sure it needs any. The top edge could go back a bit further I guess, I'm a fan of having them almost as long as the primary edge, but that's damn minor.
 
I like the drop, upswept and recurve.

You might think of going wider to give them more shape.

But, very.... Beastly.

Good looking knives.

Only thing I could suggest is lost the finger grooves.

I concur with rockspyder; the finger-grooves could be done without. Sure, they make the knife look fiercer, but the restrict the ways you can hold the blade. Overall, though, I like it a lot! I would love to have the Beast hanging from my belt--once you get rid of the finger-grooves, that is.

I don't know, maybe a choil in front of the guard that is big enough for your finger to fit in. I'm getting nitpicky. The knife looks great to me the way it is.
