Received an awesome sheath for my CS Boss Jack a few weeks ago. Just now getting around to showing this thing off.
Huge thanks and props to Mr. Pirtle for the outstanding job. I requested a scout sheath and left the color coordination up to Chad. I think he really knocked it out of the park. Not too loud but not too subtle; just about right for this particular knife. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
Thanks again, Chad!

And now for something completely different. I didn't want to make two separate posts. Went on a four-day beach camping trip with a buddy to Padre Island National Seashore over Black Friday weekend. Since neither one of us do any serious fishing, it mostly consisted of drinking, grilling and burning wood. So much wood. Finally got a chance to beat on my 1111, and it did not disappoint!
Sorry about the focus. It was incredibly bright that day and I couldn't even see my phone screen. Apparently it wanted to focus on the wood and not the knife.
My friend grabbing some wood to chop and burn.
After cleaning up at home. Pretty decent showing of midnight blue wear after a few days of chopping and batoning action. Overall I didn't take very many pictures due to the sand and drinking. It was a pretty good time.
