Just saw a new listing for this guy at a Canadian retailer; I like it, but near $600CAD for Damascus and G10 means I'll probably end up with something like the
much more affordable dealer exclusive 15061-1901 Grizzly Ridge instead.

Not saying it's a great price considering the overall value (in my personal opinion anyhow), but it's roughly in line with the cost of a Damasteel and G10 Barrage from the custom shop (which as a side note, the Griptilian/Mini Griptilian is now the sole model from the custom shop that you can't customize with the new blade steels or handle materials as of this post).

So at least they're being consistent(ly high)...?

ETA: and technically it's a "battle worn" G10, but with the colour scheme for the G10, I'm having a hard time seeing the worn look as opposed to regular black G10, at least from this photo.
 
Gold Class is way out of my league, so any of the high end offerings I'll pass anyway. As far as price, there are some who gleefully paid the fifteen hundred bucks for the CR so the Grip is a downright bargain (Ha!). That's what is so great about this hobby, something for the rich folks and something for the serfs like me.
 
Nice! I’ve wished for a damasteel blade option for the grip for awhile. Is this only being offered in Canada?
