O-1, edge quench, 9.5" OAL, red linen micarta handle. Gotta clean up the handle a stuff a tad, but I have been playing with is and cutting stuff, so when I am done testing, im gonna clean it up nice and purty :)
 
that looks really cool! But doesn't O-1 stain pretty easily for use in the kitchen?
 
It gets a nice patina, or I can acid etch it :) It also responds well to steeling. Yes it stains, but it gets those pretty colors in it, and a high polish helps stop it. And many people prefer a high carb kitchen blade as they take a fine edge, and the patina adds to their character.
