New Leather Jacket

Hey everyone!

Been lurking around here for awhile since a friend introduced me to Busse a couple years ago. Always enjoyed his collection but never pulled the trigger on a purchase. Finally ponied up the $ and bought a BG Axe Hammer from him. Decided to pick up leather working on a whim and thought a good first project might be a new leather jacket for that coveted fixed blade! I really enjoyed the process thought I'd throw it up here to see what kind of response there might be. In the meantime I'm just anxiously waiting for the grab bags I threw down on... think I might be developing a problem! Lol

I am super pumped for my grab bags as well!!!

I started pretty much the same way except I kept seeing all over the net how amazing the RMD was and so many people said if they could only have one it would be that one.

Next thing you know 40+ models later I have an addiction!!!!!!!

That looks to be some nice innovative work on the belt loop, nice shaping and contouring there and all over the place, its obvious you put in a lot of work and had a lot of ideas.
 
You picked up leatherwork on a whim and made that? You could make money off leather if that's your starting point......that's some natural skill right there.

I feel you on the grab bags. I was hoping mine would make it here on Sat, but it's going to be Tues due to the holiday. Harrumph.

Sweet jacket! So if that's your first sheath you just killed any motivation I might have had to give it a try! LOL!!! That's pretty amazing - As for the addiction, it's like this- seek counseling now or it's over- just submit and smile about it~ It's all good
