New Made "Sheffield" knives?

Junk? Almost good? or Good?
I know they are not the same quality as the vintage or antiques, just wondering how the modern NYC made in China "Sheffield" knives rank. I personally think their multi-tools (the only modern Sheffield products I am familiar with) leave a lot to be desired.

I'm not sure what your post refers to exactly, but decent knives can still be found made in Sheffield, England.

Sheffield brand or made in Sheffield?

There's a Sheffield brand that has multi-tools manufactured in China but I'm not sure if they manufacture any traditional knives. I've seen some of their modern tactical folders and they also leave a lot to be desired.

Thanks for the link Jake :thumbup: From the look of it, the company don't seem to have any connection to Sheffield, England whatsoever. I'm quite shocked they can get away with using the name

I clicked through the links on the website and it does appear that there are Sheffield brand knives that fit the "traditional" description, including stock knives and folding hunters. I don't have experience with those particular knives. The modern Sheffield branded knives and multi-tools that they sell locally in big box hardware stores aren't something that I would recommend.
