New member, Nano collector

New member here. I am also new to knife collecting, so far I just have a few Boker Nano. The lockup on my Decade Edition is really bad, the frame lock does not fit under the blade at all. Any idea how to fix this? Basically it is just the detent keeping the blade locked open, I can take close up pics if necessary.
 
mine was like that until I opened and closed it a bit while watching a movie, now it locks up solid.

I contacted customer service & Jan was quick to respond but not very knowledgeable, doesn't really seem like much of a knife enthusiast.

I have only carried my Decade Edition a few times, I will probably just put it back in the box if I can't get the lock up to an acceptable level.
 
Wow, that is really awful on so many levels. My Decade Nano is dead pretty, razor sharp, and locks tight. Is the frame lock too short, too long, or badly shaped? It will totally void your warranty and take a bit of time, but if the lock is too long it can be tuned up with a dremel. It is a pain, because you remove so little material each time you disassemble, grind, and reassemble to check the fit. Otherwise, it is a clear return. The Decade edition, apparently if it is a good one, is far superior to the other Nanos I have carried.
 
When i received my nano decade edition it had a patch of rust on the blade right out of the box. I contacted BladeHQ and they were very kind and gave me a Shipping label to send the knife back so they can send me a different one. I guess it worked out for the best because the one they sent me the second time was serial number 003

Orange 2014 edition acquired! Looking forward to the 2016 special edition...

I have 5 Nano frame locks with 440C and Zytel from 2013: Boker Plus Nano Frame Lock

Last year I added one of the Decade Edition Nano frame locks with VG-10 and CF.

Nice little frame locks.
