My wife has wanted a French Bulldog for longer than I can remember. She recently found the breeder she trusted, and had saved the money up, so we pulled the trigger on Ivy, our newest family member. She's 8 weeks old. She was the biggest puppy in the litter, and she's a real looker. A few pics below for y'all.

She and Oscar already get along well. She doesn't put up with any bullying, and Oscar is compliant.

Still missing and hurting over loosing you Boudreaux.

Just saw some of his pics of him and almost cried.

Andy,

That is the cutest thing I've seen all day!

Can't let my boys see this thread.

Andy:

Lilly filled me in on Ivy when I spoke to her at the shop. I have to say that after seeing the photos of your new pup she is definitely a cutie pie.

Glad to see that she is feisty enough to stand up to Oscar. I had this mental image of Oscar carrying Ivy around in his mouth, much like Thor used to do to Oscar.

R.I.P. Boudreaux......he was a handsome dog & a good companion.

For now you can enjoy being a two "tail-less" dog household. Can't wait to meet Ivy in person !!!

Thanks for sharing the photos.

Peter

Hey Andy,

Not sure if I missed it somewhere but I'm really sorry about Boudroux.

I sure looks like Ivy settled in quickly and well. The pics are great - thanks for sharing. My favorite is this one just because of the expression on Ivy's and Oscar's faces.

Cute puppy, I love dogs! We have a Basset, Boxer, Chihuahua/Weiner dog mix, Sharpei/Beagle mix, and a Shitzu. I tend to like animals better than people.

Congrats Andy. Cute puppy! Wish you and your family many happy years with Ivy and Oscar! Sorry to hear about Boudreaux.

Sweet! Our pup is spending a lot of time on the couch these days, and talk has turned to life after Leo. My wife has been hinting pug, but we really never looked at the French Bull Dog breed.

Gratuitous dog picture from our vacation last year in Maine near Arcadia NP (highly recommended):

Tail less and short nosed is a must for me. No working dogs please. LOL. Oscar is getting there, but Boudreaux was the easiest going and easiest dog to train I've ever had. Still, Oscar has him on looks by a slight margin. I may be so enamored with this French Bulldog that my breed preference may change. That flatter nose is even more appealing to me.

I'm with you on animals vs people. Oh to be reincarnated as a pet dog. What a life.

Andy, I told you...as soon as Myline saw the pics she said "I want one"....I have no problem with that, its better than wanting a Great Dane after she met Thor!. Ivy is for sure cuter than cute.

Insist on a very good breader for this breed. They have health issues, and a quality breeder will make a world of difference. Poor Boudreaux tought me that about short faced dogs.
