The 3rd Riddick movie is coming out and this poster has gotten some buzz. Any thoughts on the design would be welcome (i.e. functional "tactical" blade or just failed Hollywood bling).

The sequel to Raid:Redemption is also in production so this might end up being a good year for knives (or machetes:)) in film.

No, the Klingon pie server has extra tines that serve to send the pie and the eater to Stovokor.
lol
I'll put my Bat'leth up against Riddick's alien cheese dagger any old day of the week. And it will be ridiculous. :)

It looks like a new TOPS model. They will probably call it the Syrian Shank or the Rebel Ripper or....

The only knife he's used that looks at all functional was the piece of scrap metal in the first one.

If all you are going to do is shank people then just about any old knife will do. On the other hand if Riddick were to actually use a knife as a tool, then all would quickly realize just how worthless and silly these knives are.

Hehehe I was excited for it too. Thanks anyway dude. :)

I must have been thinking about this "trilogy" pack, that was the two movies and the animation together:

Here's the trailer, looks like more of the same, a good movie to watch while nursing a hangover:

Looks like your typical Furian bushcraft blade in 1095 and micarta handles. If I remember correctly, I saw a thread a couple months ago where he was looking for a advice on a survival knife with a 4" to 6" blade in the $100 to $200 range, and must also be able to kill Necromongers and the Quasi-dead. How many times have we seen that posted on this forum!
