Here is my new custom made ring that I want to show off. This ring was manufactured by http://www.boonerings.com/. Talk to Bruce. He is good people. He is also a member of BF known as btboone. I would try calling him because for some reason he often has trouble with his email.
First off, I am not the one who made or selling these rings. If you guys are interested, you will have to talk to the manufacturer yourself.
This ring was made for my personal use.

It is the BS or B!tch Slap Ring for short. It is a self-defense ring that is not meant to look like weapon. It has teeth that can cause some decent rips when punch or b!tch slapping. I would recommend the latter to avoid fractures to your finger. It is made from solid, aircraft grade titanium or 6Al4V Ti, so it is incredibly stong and light. You really don't feel any extra weight on your finger. You do notice the ring there because it is pretty chunky, but it is not uncomfortable.

A ring with spikes or blade would be more effective, but I want to be able to wear the ring constantly and comfortably when doing day to day activities. And like I said previously, I don't want it to look offensive. Still, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of this ring in a confrontation.

Enjoy the pics.

Very nice.

I'd like to get one too. The one thing that I'd think about adding to it is to groove it all the way around, so that the grooves are always in the "right" place, i.e. you'd have maximum effectiveness if the ring slipped around on your finger.

Are the grooves finished or somewhat sharp and likely to catch on fabric, etc.?

I'd be interested in a similar ring, and would be interested in knowing who made it for you.

Thanks!

The grooves are sharp because they are so cleanly cut. I am sure you can get teeth all the way around. I also considered that, but my opinion is that it would be very uncomfortable to wear. I am sure within a day of wearing it, you would have more than just chaffing on your adjacent fingers.
Talk to the guy and see what he can do. Check the original post for the contact info I forgot to put in.

I am thinking about adding teeth on the back side too. Not on the sides, it would be uncomfortable. I'll wear it for a few days with the ring turn inward and see how it goes. It may be to rough when grabbing things.

if i had the funds I would have bought the one from tadgear with the detachable spike. that was sweet....

I almost bought one, but I read on a different forum that people who bought the ring was because of its cool factor. Even the rings fans thought that it was kinda impractical. Also, a lot of the members who bought the rings kept loosing the spikes off their keychains and TAD didn't always provide replacements. Their was a guy and his friend who both lost their spikes on the same day asking for replacements.
