Thats.... Let's call it interesting looking. Flipper, wave and thumb opener seems a bit excessive to me. Like the handle shape anyway.

Soon as I pick one of these up I'll be off to the mall...

It's a pretty neat design, although a tad overdone. If it were inexpensive, I'd probably pick one up.

Like the handle not the blade shape(at all). Would like to get a Viper Start though. Clip also looks good on this.

I wish more manufacturers would include that indentation on the scale for better grip when drawing the knife.

Well, yeah, it might be a bit "mall ninja" like, but I don't think there's a lot of design potential in purely practical, traditional knives (Outside of different handle materials, blade steel, blade length, thickness, etc; but for most of those you're usually just talking optimal range for the designated task as well.), since they have already been made (Of course, since it's the practical type of designs.). So, I don't think there's anything wrong with what people call "mall ninja designs".

Lots of nice attention to detail for actual use, IMO. The design is interesting to say the least. I have a feeling this knife would earn my love and respect once I actually got it in my pocket and used it.... but getting it to my pocket would be a difficult task.

Viper has another knife coming out in the 4th quarter that is much more streamlined, and looks awesome to be honest. It's called the Odino and it's a collaboration with Jasper Vox.

I like it. It reminds me of my Spyderco Szabo. Of course it's going to get a lot of negative comments because it's not conventional or boring.

I'm not a fan of the compound grind or the upswept tip. I really like the handle shape though, it looks like it'd be very comfortable. Flipper+wave does seem a little excessive, but it certainly makes it different. I just wish they had picked one of the two and stuck with it.

Give me a week or so to think of what I'd use that silly looking blade for. :barf:

This knife was designed by Boris Manasherov, an Israeli Krave Maga teacher.
The Micarta version is about $197.00 u.s.d. not incl. Sh.
This knife opens lightening fast and smooth as silk due to its ball bearing system
(no washers).
Excellently made in Maniago, Italy.
Not intended for filleting fish or farm work.

The instant I saw this knife, I was sure it was a combat design probably designed by a martial artist. It's got a bunch of great features that I would love on a combat design. The divot in the handle scale/unique pocket clip facilitates quick grip changing, like the Spydie Gunting. The blade shape is awesome with a sharp-transitioning re-curve which basically acts like a huge serration and is great for close cutting/ripping with a belly for slicing and still comes to a point for penetration. Lastly it's got a bunch of mechanisms for opening the knife for failsafe options. All in all, it's a pretty interesting design, reminds me a great deal of the Kershaw Offset, which I've always wanted to own.
