Nickel Silver Shortage?

Whats the deal with N/S barstock? Is there a shortage or something? I have tried Jantz, K&G, Koval and no one has any. K&G said it was on back order with several suppliers and they don't have any idea when they expect to get any. Does anybody know where i might be able to find some? is there any other sources except for the supply houses mentioned above? i'm looking for 3/8" x 3/4" bar in any length.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!

When you buy nickel silver ALWAYS ask what percent it is! This is not so bad when used as a guard for a hidden tang blade BUT if using for bolsters and the pins you use ARE NOT the same, quess what? You got it, the pins show up every time. This happened to a very good friend of mine.

From what I´ve heard there is a shortage in Europe. This is because of alot of nickelsilver is needed now to make the new EURO-coins.Germany makes nickelsilver , don´t know in what other country you can find manufacturers of nickelsilver.
