From what I can gather, the Sebenza 25, Umnumzaan, and Ti-Lock do not have pivot bushings like the Sebenza 21 and the Mnandi. Does everyone use loctite on these knives?

The 25 came with some but I don't need it, this knife has smoothed out so nice, I mean it was smooth when I got it,
Just very nice, very pleased with everything.

If I had an Umnumzaan or 25 I would not use locktite. I would use teflon tape as I have on many other folders.

Yes. I cannot comprehend why there is such a rebellion against using a tiny drop of thread locker, as per the manufacturers recommendations.

The threads were designed to use purple loctite, and that is what I use.

I take taken the 25 apart and I don't use lockite. Everything seems ok for me.

I've taken my 25 apart and dialed in the pivot and it hasn't moved yet. I actually have checked the position every day since I've had it to make sure. Really enjoying the knife.

I have taken my 25 apart a couple of times and I haven't used loctite. I haven't noticed any movement. That said, I have a small rotation so I don't use it hard every day. I would imagine if you were to use it hard daily, you may have a need for a small amount of thread locker.

+1 to that.

If you don't like standard threadlocker, give Vibratite VC-3 a try. It is an adjustible threadlocker.

I use loctite on my zaan, it didn't seem like it wanted to move but its no big deal so I just used it. It doesn't hurt the knife and doesn't make it any more difficult to take down later so why not?
