Just received this a few days ago & wow. IMHO, the hype was pretty dead on. The only question is, when did they start giving the blade slight etching or darkening of the machine marks & engraving? I don't recall this on other Skahas I've seen. Is it just me?

Wow congrats on the knife! I'm still 7 months away in the waiting list to put my hands on it. Glad you like our proudly canadian knife! How's the fit and finish?

Lol @ 4/20 on blade

I like the striating. I’m on the waitlist for one, no way I’m paying secondary prices. I like supporting north/American companies.

Thanks! F&F is great. Didn't know it was (forgive me for saying) "drop shutty". Smooth, ergos, very sharp. It's one of those times you really would like to buy multiples of a piece. It's forcing alot of others out the pocket at the moment. And I'm talking Arius, Sebbie, Void, Typhoon...etc.

4:20, couldn't have planned it better, lol. It's well worth the wait. I agree, secondary prices can be a little wack.

how long was the wait for you?? ... honestly I'm not sold on the striations - I know they look good, so I guess that's the more important part anyway

I got mine two days ago. Also carbon fiber. It’s lighter than my smaller Laconico EZC. I like the blade decoration. It’s a simple folder with a hand filling grip. IMO it was worth the year and a half wait.

I just got mine too. I don't think it was etched as mine was a lot more shiny at first but after handling it a bit it looks like yours. So maybe oils from my hand.

Mine came out the box dark. I knew they were using a different media for the batch of blades mine was in, so maybe that's the reason? I do like it more so though.

Oh, I guess I'll be the one to measure & see if Skiff has bearings for this. But it deploys soooo good. Of course the Arius deployed better after Skiff bearings so... *sigh*
