Northwest Knife company?

If this is the Portland, OR store, they have gone out of business. They still have a few items and you can call them to find out what they have but they are basically trying to clear out any remaining inventory. They have no place you can actually view stuff though... I was going to buy some CRK fluorinated grease from them since they still have some tubes.

Is that the same as "Northwest Knives and Collectibles"? Or another similar-sounding business?

NWKC is based in Salem, Oregon. I ordered from them a couple of times from their mail catalog, and maybe once from their eBay store (seller name "nwknives"). No problems.

I think that there are several different companies with similar names. I have dealt with one called the Northwest Knife Company that sells a lot of Great Eastern Cutlery products. If that is the one you are asking about then I would say that my dealings with them have all been very postive.

I know this is an old thread, but after seeing it, I realized that people may be looking for information on Northwest Knife Company out of Monroe, WA. It's owned by Gary Norton who is a LONG time collector, knife enthusiast, and trusted retailer. He's a dealer with the of the oldest relationships with GEC. He doesn't do a lot of SFOs, so his store is not highlighted in people's minds as much.

But I've had dozens of purchases from him over the years. What you see on his site is what's actually in stock. He very reliable, honest and friendly. He's also a fast shipper, in my experience. Buy with confidence.:thumbsup:

Dang thanks for the information. I’m going to have to look him up, I drive through Monroe everyday and live 15 minutes out of town.

Couldn’t hold back any longer and ordered a 62 from him, in less then three hours I had a shipping notice in hand! Now that’s service.
